Cleaners voting on Clean Start Collective Agreement

Office cleaners around Australia are now voting on the Clean Start Collective Agreement.

The Clean Start campaign to create better jobs for cleaners is cleaning up this industry.  Growing numbers of building owners, tenants and contractors are getting behind the cleaners’ campaign to fix the crisis in contract cleaning.

The Clean Start Collective Agreement includes the 7 Fair Solutions – Fair Hours, Fair Workloads, Fair Pay, Fair Job Security, Fair Treatment, Fair Leave and Fair Rights.

Thanks for your comment and good on you for being a member campaigning to change your industry.

As you may be aware, Springmount Services is one of the minority of contract cleaning firms around Australia yet to sign the Clean Start Agreement. This means they are yet to agree that cleaners need higher wages and improved conditions.
