It's time Crown put its cards on the table
Today, Crown said they will improve their table games proposal. But Casino Union members are concerned this may be yet another empty promise.
After weeks of pressure from Casino Union members, Crown management agreed to review their radical table games cuts.
When pressed by your Casino Union bargaining team for details, Crown said, “we will have to get back to you.”
Union analysis shows that under Crown’s proposal every one and two game dealer could be thousands of dollars worse off.
Current three game dealers are worried they will lose hours — or even their jobs — when they are forced to compete with other three game dealers earning less money.
Meanwhile, Crown are saying that food and beverage workers who make Crown millions every year, should get a lower pay rise than their Burswood counterparts.
Crown security officers, who every day risk their lives to safeguard patrons and their fellow workers, are being told they are worth only 3.5%.
Casino Union members are saying “no way” in overwhelming numbers to this incredible lack of respect.
Thousands of Crown workers are signing on to vote ‘yes’ to industrial action.

If Crown keeps stalling on pay and industry standard annual leave, Casino Union members will have no choice but to take action.
If Crown keeps trying to push through dodgy table games cuts, Casino Union members will have no choice but to take action.
