Crown security officers want better rosters
Security members at Melbourne's Crown Casino have been working together to win safer and more family-friendly rosters.
Delegate Brian Pietsch said they organised a petition and signed up non-members to the union, to show management they are a strong, united group.
‘We want a safe working environment and we also want a balanced life style approach because of the stresses of the job.’
A committee has been elected to meet with management to resolve rostering, manning and other issues.
‘A new committee has been set-up with reps from all security departments to consider what our new roster should be.’
Brian said the officers were “positive” about working together with management to win change.
