She’s seen how building the union at her site has made a difference.
“There was no fairness on site before. Management played favourites.”

Kathryn is part of new team of delegates recently elected by fellow members at Crown.
Powerhouse training will help the new delegate team take their site to the next level.
The training includes how to sign up workers, represent members in meetings and negotiate with management.
“We’ve got a fairly good rapport with management. It would be good to use that relationship more effectively.”
“The union is a huge resource for us. There is so much potential for us to swim in the one direction.”
“I’m really looking forward to doing the Powerhouse training. I think we can learn how to make our site better.”
