Hin and Bozana celebrate first Clean Start pay rise
Adelaide cleaners Hin and Bozana have good reason to celebrate. This week they received their first pay rise under the new Clean Start Collective Agreement. Their pay for working the afternoon shift at the Adelaide Magistrates Court has increased to $19.29 an hour - an increase of $1.65 an hour (9.3%)
As well as receiving pay increases, Clean Start campaigners Hin and Bozana now enjoy all the other benefits of the Clean Start Collective Agreement, including fair hours, fair workloads, fair job security, fair leave, fair treatment and fair rights.
Hin and Bozana work for Phoenix Cleaning, one of the first Adelaide contract cleaners to pay the new Clean Start rates.
