LHMU Queensland is launching their 'Who's handling your breasts?' campaign today on the Gold Coast aimed at fighting government plans to limit access of Queensland women to breast screen services.
Representing more than 1800 radiographers across the state, the LHMU says successive state and federal governments have failed to address the issue for several years.
LHMU calls on the government and Queensland Health to address the accessibility and intake to university to study a Bachelor of Science - Medical Radiation Technology and a variety of other workforce recruitment and retention measures.
