The newly formed Teacher Aide Consultative Committee met for the first time this fortnight to discuss Band 5 guaranteed hours, 004 positions and Teacher Aide inductions.
This group of elected Teacher Aides is responsible for ensuring your certified agreement is implemented correctly.
Committee members include: Lyn Collinge, Jill Quinn, Lesley Higgins and Moya Hughes.

The School Cleaner Consultative Committee also met and agenda items included the district relief cleaning trial and closed classrooms.
Members on the Gold Coast and in Townsville are encouraged to promote the use of the trial cleaners with school management to ensure the programs continuation.
Committee members include: Bette Eggink, Peter Waddell and Paul Everingham.
