Stamford members put offer on the table!
After long and difficult negotiations, LHMU members presented Stamford with a counter-offer on Friday 21 May.
This proposed agreement provides:
- A pay increase of 2% above the award for each year of the agreement.
- The first of these pay increases will be brought forward to the first pay period after 1 July 2010.
- There is also a $650 sign-on fee pro rata to be paid to workers after Fair Work Australia approves the agreement.
This has only been made possible because of the hard work of members.
Workers say they think this is a decent proposal for an agreement.

Stamford have been advised that this proposal is open until 5pm Friday 28 May.
An activist phone meeting wil be held on 5pm Friday 28 May to discuss the next steps.
