The Clean Start campaign has reached the stage where a critical mass of cleaning contractors in New South Wales, Queensland, South Australia, ACT and Victoria have signed the Clean Start collective agreement, and a majority of cleaning contractors have signed nationally.
Signing the Clean Start Agreement has been the next important step in achieving positive reforms in the cleaning industry to address the crisis cleaners have been facing for too long. A ruthless cost-cutting approach to business had not only put cleaners at risk, but also exposed tenants and clients to deteriorating service quality.
Clean Start is about cleaners and cleaning contractors working together to deliver better jobs to cleaners, higher service standards to tenants and clients and a more sustainable and quality focused industry.
